Time sync error/no internet

I love playing this game but was hoping to bring something to light. As you know, there are those of us that choose to serve in the military and due to that fact, there are times where we are deployed, we do not have Internet access while utilizing our module devices for anywhere from a few days to a couple months at time. Ive noticed after a couple of days without Internet access, the energy wont recharge and it tells me I need Internet access to correct this. Is there a way to update this software so that I goes by the phones local time to recharge the energy levels in order to be able to play. I know there are some of my fellow brothers and sisters in arms that share in that when we have some downtime, its nice to be able to do things to take our minds off of the daily tasks we have, and being able to enjoy this game is very short lived when we dont have Internet access.
